Maybe he's trying to tell us he wants to be an Aggie when he's ready for college!

Nice Try, Mommy!

The kids were pretty excited when they saw my creation for dinner the other night... Here's a picture of my turkey meatloaf "cupcakes" with mashed potatoes and roasted cherry tomatoes.


It was all fun until they realized that the meal still tasted like turkey meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Oh well. Nice try, Mommy!

Happy Grandparent's Day

We love our grandmas and grandpas so much. Here are some pictures from the past year with them. We are so thankful that we could visit everyone in Colorado this summer, and that they travel to visit us, too!

Homework

Everyone in the family has homework to do these days.

Naomi, of course, has homework assigned by her teacher every weekend.

Johnathan is doing therapeutic listening and working on prewriting and fine motor skills.

Even Ezra has "homework" - neck stretches and lots of tummy time!

Here's a Good One!

Finally caught Ezra smiling a big one long enough to get his picture. I think this one is actually laughing, which he does when we tickle his legs or neck or blow raspberries at him. Irresistable!

A New Zoo

We had heard that Waco has a nice zoo, so on Saturday we headed up there to check it out, and the Cameron Park Zoo did not disappoint! It is really pretty, with lots of trees and natural-looking exhibits. One of our favorites was the otter exhibit, which has a clear tube slide that goes right through the otter's water. Ezra enjoyed rocking in the rocking chairs while Naomi and Johnathan went down the slide and watched the otters spin and play. Johnathan was thrilled to see the tigers walking around... And he did not like the snake exhibits. And we loved hearing the lions roar! We enjoyed a beautiful day with perfect weather.

Awana Kickoff Carnival

Kevin, Naomi and Johnathan had a fun time at the kickoff carnival for Awana - they had dozens of games to try and lots of snacks. Pastor Kevin was the Bible trivia man with candy prizes in the pockets of his "coat of many colors!"
